Seodaemun-gu District Office in Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 15th that it will conduct proactive safety inspections of small and medium-sized private construction sites within the district over approximately three weeks to welcome the new year. The inspections will be carried out on a total of 17 sites, including 11 small and medium-sized construction sites and 6 demolition construction sites, through the 'Seodaemun-gu Building Safety Center.'
External experts, internal specialists, and permit officers will check ▲on-site hazards according to the inspection checklist ▲whether a small-scale safety management plan has been established ▲and the implementation of industrial accident prevention guidance.
Based on the inspection results, minor issues will be corrected immediately on-site, serious issues will be subject to correction orders to ensure improvements, and for issues requiring more time, notification will be given to report the action plan and completion deadline.
