Seoul Fire & Disaster Headquarters "CPR Training Equipment Available for Free Rental"
The Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters announced on the 12th that it will launch a free rental service for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training equipment to promote CPR emergency treatment education among institutions and organizations.
CPR training equipment is classified as high-cost equipment despite its infrequent actual use, so many institutions and organizations do not have sufficient quantities on their own. As a result, there has been inconvenience in having to visit training institutions such as fire stations to receive CPR training. In response, the Seoul Fire & Disaster Headquarters will operate a free rental service for training equipment so that institutions and organizations can conduct CPR training and practice anytime. However, considering the number of trainees and the quantity of equipment, this service is limited to institutions and organizations and excludes individuals.
This CPR training equipment rental service will be provided using 100 adult CPR mannequins and 80 training automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Equipment rental is available for up to 20 units and for a maximum of 7 days.
Applications for the CPR training equipment rental service can be made through the Seoul Safety Education Reservation Portal. For the service, a professional delivery company will deliver the CPR training equipment to the training location and will also be responsible for collecting it after the training is completed.
