Discussion on Promoting Exchange with 150 Companies from Both Countries
The Korea Importers Association announced on the 11th that it dispatched an import delegation to Gujarat, India, to expand the global supply chain and strengthen cooperation.

The import delegation discussed ways to revitalize exchanges between Korea and Gujarat with key figures from both the public and private sectors, including Dammu Ravi, Indian Minister of External Affairs, Jang Jae-bok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, and over 150 companies from both countries.
Kim Byung-kwan, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association, said, “It is very meaningful to dispatch the Korea Importers Association import delegation to India with the goal of expanding the global supply chain of key resources and promoting trade between the two countries, in connection with President Yoon Suk-yeol’s visit to India last year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Korea-India diplomatic relations.” He added, “We hope that the competitive Indian companies present here, as well as excellent Indian companies wishing to enter the Korean market, will participate in the Korea Import Fair in July this year to gain opportunities for market entry and business development.”
Dammu Ravi, Indian Minister of External Affairs, emphasized, “I propose to actively cooperate to further facilitate exchanges between companies of the two countries.”

Last September, the Korea Importers Association held one-on-one business import consultations in New Delhi and Mumbai, India, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation with the Government of Maharashtra State, India, and the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).
