Goryeong-gun and Public Officials Union Sign 2024 Wage Agreement
Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a wage agreement signing ceremony with the Goryeong-gun Office Public Officials Labor Union of the National Federation of Labor Unions at 3 p.m. on the 8th.
On the 8th, Goryeong County and the Public Workers' Union signed a labor wage agreement.

It reflects efforts to establish a more progressive labor-management relationship and improve the working environment for public officials based on communication, trust, and cooperation between labor and management.
The signing ceremony was a meaningful event exchanging final opinions on the proposal prepared through 12 rounds of negotiations and practical consultations, starting from the 2023 collective bargaining demands. Ten people attended, including the county governor as the chief negotiator and the labor union chairman.
County Governor Lee Nam-cheol said, “I am grateful for your understanding and sympathy for the county’s difficult financial situation,” and added, “Let us continue to work together to improve the treatment of public officials and the development of the county.”
