Expecting a Major Shift in Car Roles with SDV
ResearchAlum forecasted on the 8th that SureSoftTech will benefit from the increasing demand for smart cars.
Researcher Moon Ju-seong from ResearchAlum explained, "Starting from CES, we expect the role of automobiles to shift from mobility to enhancing customer experience through SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle)."
He added, "In October 2022, Hyundai Motor Group announced a complete transition to SDV for all vehicle models by 2025," and "Hyundai Motor and Kia plan to participate together in CES for the first time in five years."
He stated, "They are expected to showcase a full-scale transition to the SDV system," emphasizing, "Since 2010, SureSoftTech has maintained a cooperative relationship by providing Hyundai Motor Group with vehicle software (S/W) safety verification tools and services."

Researcher Moon analyzed, "Expansion beyond simple software verification into AI and big data verification business is anticipated," noting, "In August last year, SureSoftTech entered the AI and big data business by acquiring a 43.7% stake in big data specialist company Mobigen for 22.9 billion KRW." He added, "We expect technical collaboration between SureSoftTech and Mobigen in collecting, analyzing, and utilizing vehicle big data, which is an essential element of SDV," and explained, "They plan to jointly develop AI verification technology by integrating AI and big data technologies into their existing verification solutions."
