"Full-Scale Launch of Large Vessel Business"…STX Greenlogis Acquires 170,000t Bulk Carrier
Comprehensive logistics and shipping company STX Greenlogis is making a full-scale entry into the large vessel business by acquiring a large bulk carrier.
STX Greenlogis announced on the 2nd that it purchased a Cape-size bulk carrier with a capacity of 170,000 tons for approximately 16.8 billion KRW.
This vessel is the largest among the ships operated by STX Greenlogis. Through this, the company plans to make a full-scale entry into the large vessel business while responding to the increasing demand for shipping by expanding its fleet and diversifying vessel types.
Following the eco-friendly bulk carrier acquired last September, the addition of this Cape-size ultra-large bulk carrier has increased STX Greenlogis' fleet to a total of eight vessels. STX Greenlogis plans to continue expanding its business by operating bulk carriers stably through large vessel contracts in the future.
