Dressed in a navy suit and white shirt, Vice Chairman Jung visited the waiting room before the 2 PM performance to meet Han and greeted the guests.
The concert held at the IBK Chamber Hall was a great success with most seats fully occupied. Notable figures such as actress Park Joo-mi, singer and producer Raimer, and Ha Won-mi, spouse of professional baseball player Choo Shin-soo of the SSG Landers, were also in attendance. The recital consisted of a chamber music format in the first half and jazz performances centered on the flute in the second half. Ticket prices were 100,000 KRW for all seats.
The first half began with Bach's cantata (BWV 147) "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," followed by a flute concerto in D minor by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Bach's second son. The second half featured popular year-end repertoire including Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," John Newton's "Amazing Grace," and Irving Berlin's "White Christmas."
Han graduated from the preparatory school of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in Austria and studied at the Conservatoire de Paris in Boulogne. She then completed her bachelor's degree at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the United States. Additionally, she pursued a professional performance course at Musashino Academia Musicae in Japan, studying under Professor Kai, a leading figure in the Japanese flute community. Domestically, she earned a master's degree from Ewha Womans University and a doctorate from Seoul National University Graduate School of Music. She is currently active as a member of the chamber ensemble "PACE." The ensemble's name is an abbreviation of "Pro Arte Chamber Ensemble," signifying a group of young musicians with top-tier skills.
Han married Jung Yong-jin in a private ceremony at the Chosun Hotel in May 2011, and they have fraternal twins, one son and one daughter, born in 2013. Vice Chairman Jung and his wife have four children in total, including one son and one daughter from Jung's previous marriage to actress Go Hyun-jung. Their eldest son, Hae-chan, graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Hotel Administration and interned at Westin Chosun Hotel, a Shinsegae Group affiliate, in 2018. Recently, he has been reported to be doing an internship at Samjong KPMG, one of the top four accounting firms in Korea.
