The Korea Importers Association announced on the 21st that it met with Simon Pierre Adoberande, Ambassador of Benin to Korea, to discuss ways to expand exchanges between the two countries.

Located in Africa, Benin has been promoting industrial development through government reforms since 2016. Ambassador Adoberande stated, “We are focusing on Korea as a key partner country,” and explained, “Benin has a safe business environment and an efficient logistics system, making it one of the most competitive countries on the African continent.” Benin has strengths in cultivating crops such as cashew nuts, beans, and pineapples.
