Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Clinical Pathology Department Hosts Department-Specialized Program Competition
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do), Department of Clinical Pathology (Department Head Seo Chung-won) held the department's specialized program competition, "Understanding the Duties of Clinical Pathologists," on the 7th.

View original imageThis competition was held to enhance the understanding of the fields and detailed job areas of clinical pathologists, who are members of healthcare professionals, and to strengthen students' awareness of career paths as clinical pathologists and motivate them to explore the profession.
The event was participated by first- and second-year students who presented posters based on job area research in the major fields of clinical hematology, histopathology, clinical physiology, clinical chemistry, and clinical microbiology, awarding one team the grand prize and four teams excellence awards.
The Department of Clinical Pathology has been holding specialized programs annually since 2021 with support from the Junior College Innovation Support Project and plans to continue operating competitions to enhance students' talent capabilities.

Established in 2006, the Department of Clinical Pathology at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology boasts a high pass rate for the national clinical pathologist examination and employment rate. Graduates are active in various fields such as university hospitals, general hospitals, the Korean Red Cross Blood Services, and the Korea Health Management Association. Additionally, since 2017, the department has operated an advanced bachelor's degree program in Clinical Pathology (4th year, bachelor's degree program).
