Kookmin University Technology Holdings Subsidiaries 'Erid' and 'Sercadian' Selected for TIPS

(CEO Daehwan Kim), have been finally selected for the TIPS program, a technology startup support initiative by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) is a project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and private investors to foster startups with leading technology and business potential. Through this TIPS selection, Erid and Circadian will receive up to 700 million KRW in research and development (R&D) funding over two years.
Erid is a company that provides customized professional educational services for the prevention and education of dyslexia and reading difficulties in children and adolescents. Through this TIPS program, Erid plans to develop an AI-based Korean phonics phonological rule learning system (software) for foreign learners. This system is expected to enhance the efficiency of Korean language learning by assessing the learning level and characteristics of foreign learners and providing tailored learning content.
Circadian, which possesses innovative technology for treating sleep disorders based on hormonal rhythms, offers customized light therapy and prevention solutions by measuring and diagnosing 24-hour light pollution and sleep hormone rhythms to contribute to the treatment and prevention of sleep disorders. Through this TIPS selection, Circadian plans to advance its sleep care platform and solutions, and it is expected to play a significant role in revitalizing the sleep disorder treatment market by mass-producing deep-tech-based products and entering domestic and international markets.
