Narasella Joins Whiskey Division... "Expanding Alcohol Portfolio"
Expanding Whiskey Business Using Narasella Distribution Channel
Exclusive Import of NBA Star Stephen Curry's Whiskey 'Gentleman's Cut'
Narasella announced on the 21st that it has incorporated the whiskey business division that had been separated as an independent entity.
This incorporation of the business division was carried out by transferring the whiskey business division of Naraspirit, an independent corporation of Narasella, to Narasella. The personnel who were exclusively in charge of the whiskey business at Naraspirit moved to Narasella, and the inventory held by Naraspirit is expected to be fully transferred within the year.
Naraspirit imports and sells spirits products including whiskey and cognac such as France’s premium cognac ‘Frapin’ and the UK premium whiskey ‘The Lakes’, as well as vodka. Narasella expects to maximize business synergy by combining Naraspirit’s whiskey business division, which has expanded market influence by discovering and importing various spirits products, with Narasella’s nationwide distribution network.
In particular, Narasella was recently appointed as the exclusive importer of the whiskey ‘Gentleman's Cut’ directly produced by NBA star Stephen Curry. Gentleman’s Cut is a premium bourbon whiskey completed by aging whiskey distillate in various barrels since 2015 in collaboration with Amuse Bouche Winery in Napa Valley, USA. It is scheduled to be sold at Narasella’s directly operated retail stores and department store outlets in January next year, and in June, Stephen Curry’s visit to Korea will include autograph sessions and dinner shows.
In addition to whiskey imports, Narasella will also engage in the development and sales of private brand (PB) products for the distribution industry through original equipment manufacturing (OEM). The PB products developed by Narasella plan to create an enjoyable whiskey culture through collaboration with various cultural contents. Through this, the company aims to transform from a wine import and distribution company into a comprehensive liquor company.

Ma Seung-cheol, chairman of Narasella, said, “We expect that the whiskey business division of Naraspirit, which has led market trends by importing and selling various spirits, will create synergy with Narasella’s sales power, which has led the liquor industry for a long time as a wine importer, enabling full-scale expansion of the whiskey business,” and added, “We will spare no effort to develop into a comprehensive liquor import and distribution company.”
