Gmarket Launches 'Smile Card Edition 3'... 20% Off All Products Until Year-End

Gmarket and Auction announced on the 7th that they have launched the ‘Smile Card Edition 3’ in collaboration with Hyundai Card and are running the ‘Smile Card Full Benefits’ promotion until the 31st.
Smile Card Edition 3 is a new version of the private label credit card (PLCC) ‘Smile Card,’ which is used by 1.4 million people. It is a shopping-customized card with an annual fee of 20,000 KRW that allows up to 2% Smile Cash accumulation without limits on the accumulation amount or frequency. The benefits have been enhanced so that the accumulation benefits, which were previously only applicable on Gmarket and Auction, now also apply when using popular coffee shops, convenience stores, and public transportation frequently used by customers.
When making a first payment of 10,100 KRW or more on Gmarket and Auction with Smile Card Edition 3 registered in Smile Pay, customers can receive a total discount of 20,000 KRW, 10,000 KRW each. Customers who have previously received the same benefits with Smile Card or who have canceled and reissued the card are excluded.
There is also a 20% discount benefit on all products on Gmarket and Auction. When paying 50,000 KRW or more on Gmarket and Auction with Smile Card Edition 3, customers can receive up to 70,000 KRW discount per site, totaling 140,000 KRW. This can be used once per ID. Additional benefits are provided for popular categories. These can be checked through special events for a total of eight popular categories including digital, food, overseas direct purchase, accommodation, and travel.

A 20,000 KRW cashback benefit is also prepared. Smile Cash of 20,000 KRW will be given to the first 5,000 customers who have no Hyundai Card payment history in the past six months and make a payment of 20,000 KRW or more with Smile Card Edition 3 (VISA) during the event period.
