Over 14,000 Users Pass Through New Sadang Lotte Castle Bus Stop in Dongjak-gu
Average 478 Daily Users for One Month After Bus Stop Opening on October 31, Elevator for Pedestrian Overpass Scheduled for Completion in December
Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) analyzed the usage status of the newly established pedestrian overpass and bus stop near Sadang Lotte Castle Golden Foret, confirming that local residents are now able to use public transportation more conveniently.
According to the district, since the bus stop opened at the end of October, an average of 478 people have used it daily, with a cumulative total of 14,797 users recorded (excluding airport buses). The pedestrian overpass crossing Sadang-ro is also estimated to be used by more than 500 people daily.
There are a total of five bus routes operating at the stop, including Dongjak 14 (village bus), two routes heading to Seoul Station and Gusan-dong (742, 752), the N64 bus connecting Yangjae and Gaehwa Station, and the airport bus (6019).
With the establishment of this bus stop, the distance from the stop to the apartment entrance was reduced by 405 meters, from 470m to 65m, and the interval between stops was cut by more than half, from 930m to 450m.
Under the on-the-ground administrative approach of the 8th elected term, the inconvenience of having to walk 500m to the bus stop across Sadang-ro has been resolved by the construction of the pedestrian overpass and new bus stop, receiving great approval from residents.

Furthermore, once the elevator at the pedestrian overpass, currently under construction, begins operation this month, accessibility for transportation-vulnerable individuals will improve, and the number of users is expected to increase further.
Park Il-ha, Mayor of Dongjak-gu, stated, “This project has been confirmed to have achieved effects such as enhanced access to public transportation,” adding, “We will continue to strive to promptly resolve residents’ daily inconveniences in various fields.”
