District Holds 'Yangjaegwon Visiting Tax Seminar' at Yangjae 2-dong Community Center on the 5th at 2 PM
Real Estate Tax Expert Explains Various Taxes Including Comprehensive Real Estate Tax, Acquisition Tax, Inheritance and Gift Tax

Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will hold the ‘2023 Yangjae Area Visiting Tax Seminar’ on the 5th to address residents' questions about complex tax laws.
Previously, the district invited experts in the real estate tax field, which is of high interest to residents, and conducted visiting tax seminars divided by areas: Seocho area in April, Bangbae area in June, and Banpo area in October.
This seminar will be held for about two hours starting at 2 p.m. at the Yangjae 2-dong Community Center, providing residents with essential information on tax policies. In particular, with the ‘Comprehensive Real Estate Tax Payment Month’ approaching this month, detailed explanations on the comprehensive real estate tax will be provided.
The lecturer will be Park Ju-young, CEO tax accountant of Haewon Tax Accounting. Tax accountant Park will clearly explain ▲acquisition tax rate special cases for multi-homeowners and gratuitous acquisitions ▲comprehensive real estate tax calculation structure and case explanations ▲inheritance and gift tax saving methods ▲special cases of capital gains tax exemption for one household with two homes. A Q&A session will follow.

Meanwhile, the district is striving to provide tax administrative services tailored to residents' needs. Since June, it has been operating the tax-specialized metaverse ‘Tax-Station’ to allow residents to receive tax services without time and space constraints. In September, it held the ‘Tax-Station Experience and Utilization Education’ to improve accessibility and usability for residents.
Additionally, the district offers ▲1:1 customized tax consultations called ‘Tax Concern Resolution Day’ held on the first Saturday of every month ▲publication of the booklet ‘Local Tax Knowledge That Is Helpful to Know’.
