"Revival of Nostalgic Items at Convenience Stores"… GS25 Unveils Christmas Seals
Anthony Brown Character Appearance
Delivering the Message of a Tuberculosis-Free Tomorrow
GS25 announced on the 28th that it will exclusively sell the 2023 Christmas Seal "Into the Fairy Tales of Anthony Brown" in the distribution industry starting from the 27th.
The 2023 Christmas Seal, issued by the Korean National Tuberculosis Association to commemorate its 70th anniversary, features characters from the representative works of fairy tale author Anthony Brown. Characters that warm the heart just by looking at them, such as a mother holding a child, a smiling father, and a little bear, convey a message about a tuberculosis-free tomorrow.
The Christmas Seal was once one of the year-end representative donation campaigns, sparking a nationwide purchasing craze. However, as more people began to regard tuberculosis as a disease of the past, interest in donation campaigns naturally declined. GS25 expects that the sale of this Christmas Seal will lead customers of all ages to regain interest in tuberculosis.
GS25 also planned a ‘Seal & Goods Set’ utilizing the trend of goods consumption. The sets include a seal + green seal keyring set, an eco bag + badge set, and a milk cup 3-piece set, which can be pre-ordered through the Our Neighborhood GS application (app) until December 9.

A GS25 representative said, "Since the proportion of tuberculosis patients in Korea remains high enough to be mentioned in famous movie lines, nationwide attention to tuberculosis eradication is necessary," adding, "GS25 plans to continue participating in various sharing activities for socially marginalized groups and those facing difficulties, and to practice ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)."
