‘Safe City’ Ulsan Citizens Together… Citizen Safety Public-Private Symposium

Completing a Safe City Together with Citizens!
Ulsan City will hold the '2023 Citizen Safety Public-Private Symposium' at 2 p.m. on the 22nd in the Diamond Hall of Munsu Convention Center.
This event is hosted by the Ulsan Safety Life Practice Citizens' Coalition (co-representatives Lee Woon-gi, Jo Bok-rae, Lee Jong-cheol) and attended by about 100 people including Ulsan City, the Office of Education, safety-related public institutions, experts, and civic groups. The program includes △an opening ceremony △presentations by safety experts in various fields △introductions of outstanding activities by private organizations.
In the expert presentations, under the theme of establishing safety awareness in daily life, there will be △“Stroke Prevention Safety” by Dr. Kim Sung-won, Head of Neurosurgery at Jungang Hospital △“Disaster Safety Management and the Role of Citizens” by Professor Emeritus Kim Chan-oh of Seoul National University of Science and Technology △“Understanding Safe Driving for a Happy Life” by Police Inspector Jo Sung-rae of Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency, followed by a Q&A session.
Next, to promote a safety culture in the region, outstanding cases from private organizations active on the ground such as the Life Empathy Policy Participation Group, Safety Monitor Volunteer Group, Woori Bus, and Ulsan Safety Life Practice Citizens' Coalition will be listened to and shared, while exploring the roles and response measures of both the public and private sectors together.
