On the 22nd, Gyeonggi Province announced that on the 23rd, it will hold the Gyeonggi Medical Cooperation Regular Forum under the theme "Strengthening Capabilities for Medical Devices to Enter the Global Healthcare Market" at the Mirae Hall of the Healthcare Innovation Park at Bundang Seoul National University Hospital.
Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, this event aims to build a hospital-centered network in the medical industry field to support field-based ideas and technologies. It is part of the "Medical Cooperation Regular Forum Project," which has been promoted together with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital since 2020.
The main project contents include ▲a mentoring program that connects experts in medical, investment, and regulatory approval sectors one-on-one, which are necessary at the technology development site ▲research seminars that share ideas from medical sites with industries ▲forums that share the latest trends for overseas expansion of the medical industry ▲and support for linking clinical trials or analytical tests for product market entry evaluation.
Through this project, Gyeonggi Province has provided customized mentoring to 46 companies since 2020. In particular, some companies have achieved visible results such as large-scale investment attraction (Philophos), accompanying the president on a visit to the United States and signing MOUs with overseas specialized institutions (A-Sleep), selection for various research and development projects (Curaco), and insurance fee application (ATsense, Hangil Tech Medical).
