The adsorption filter consists of three layers and applies Carbon Fabric Mesh technology to absorb, store, and decompose major fine dust generating substances such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and volatile organic compounds.
According to the Korea Testing & Research Institute's report, one bus equipped with the fine dust adsorption filter removes 2,064g of fine dust, which is equivalent to the amount of fine dust absorbed by 58 trees annually.
The city expects the pilot project to have the effect of planting 696 trees and plans to analyze the filters during the project and expand the implementation based on the results.
