InnoBiz Association Holds Korea-Turkiye Technology Exchange Consultation Meeting
At the 1st Korea-Turkiye Technology Exchange Consultation, Innobiz companies are visiting local companies in person to discuss future cooperation plans.
View original imageThe Inno-Biz Association announced on the 25th that it held the '2023 1st Korea-Turkiye Technology Exchange Consultation Meeting' in Istanbul, Turkiye, to help domestic technology innovation SMEs explore overseas markets and promote exports.
The association previously held a non-face-to-face Korea-Turkiye consultation meeting in Korea last September to preliminarily identify cooperation demands between companies from both countries. They then visited Turkiye in person to provide follow-up in-depth support for companies expected to achieve actual technology exchange results.
Four companies participated: Medizen Humancare, a genome analysis service specialist; Gint, specializing in precision agriculture autonomous driving; Noanix, a manufacturer of coating solutions for medical devices; and LFF, a company specializing in subtropical organic farming materials. Each company visited Turkiye-based companies directly, conducting a total of 11 consultations and discussing future cooperation plans such as technology exports and establishing local subsidiaries.
Kim Se-jong, Director of Policy Research at the Inno-Biz Association, stated, “Since Turkiye holds a favorable geopolitical position in the global value chain (GVC), it is necessary to continuously strengthen global partnering cooperation,” adding, “The association plans to proactively support manufacturing innovation Inno-Biz companies to secure market leadership.”

Meanwhile, this year the Inno-Biz Association has held consultation meetings with Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines. An additional meeting targeting Armenia is scheduled for November. Participating companies will receive support such as buyer matching, transportation, and interpretation services.
