Almek, 200 Billion KRW Electric Vehicle Platform Frame Supply Contract
Almek Co., Ltd., a global specialist in aluminum parts for electric vehicles, has signed an additional supply contract with Linamar.
This contract applies to Volkswagen's ID.6 model, and deliveries will be made according to confirmed product orders following the contract signing.
The disclosed amount is KRW 47 billion based on the purchase request issued, but the total supply amount over the next six years is KRW 207.8 billion, which is 132.5% of the previous year's sales. The contract period is from 2024 to 2029.
Almek's main business focuses on electric vehicle-specific products, developing and producing battery (secondary battery) module cases, battery pack frames, and electric vehicle platform frames.

An Almek representative stated, "Almek is a pioneer in EV parts, having developed crush alloy technology for the first time in Korea," adding, "As automakers increasingly demand more precise and challenging quality, we will grow to meet these expectations."
