From 1 PM on the 28th, the 'Jungnang Youth Dream Festival' will be held around Yongma Waterfall Park... Youth-led event with the theme of environmental care, subtitle 'Love Earth Play On!'... Over 30 environmental experience booths and youth club performances offer plenty to see
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) will hold the 'Jungnang Youth Dream Festival' at Yongma Waterfall Park starting at 1 PM on the 28th.
The 'Jungnang Youth Dream Festival,' one of the projects supporting children's and youth autonomous activities in the Jungnang Future Education District, is now in its fifth year. The Youth Dream Festival helps young people develop their autonomy by directly participating in the planning and operation of the festival every year. This year, the dedicated Dream Festival task force (TF), composed of Jungnang-gu youth, created the festival together under the theme of 'environment.'
Under the subtitle 'Love the Earth Play On!' this environment-themed festival will feature various experiential booths and performances focused on environmental awareness.
The festival will begin with a congratulatory performance called 'Kkaebi Nanjang,' a street performance by the youth performance group 'Ttudak Gaebi,' followed by an opening ceremony at 2 PM. Afterward, about 20 youth clubs will enrich the festival with passionate stages including cheerleading, band performances, instrumental music, and dance.
The various environmental experience booths will operate from 1 PM to 4 PM and include over 30 booths such as ▲recycling keychains ▲making eco-friendly solid shampoo ▲environmental curling games ▲handkerchief art, among others.
The festival is open to all children and youth of Jungnang-gu, who can freely enjoy the event by visiting the site on the day.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “Since the youth directly participated in planning and operation, I expect this to be a festival where young people can enjoy themselves even more enthusiastically,” adding, “We will continue to provide various channels where youth can directly participate and express their dreams and passions.”
