[Asian Games] Men’s Kayak Four 500m Silver Medal

The South Korean canoe sprint team won a silver medal in the men's kayak double 500m event, followed by another silver in the men's kayak four 500m at the '2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.'
The team, composed of Jo Gwanghee and Jo Hyunhee (Ulsan Metropolitan City Hall), Jang Sangwon (Incheon Metropolitan City Hall), and Jeong Juhwan (Korea Sports Promotion Foundation), finished second out of nine teams with a time of 1 minute 25.006 seconds in the men's kayak four 500m final held on the 3rd at the Puyang Water Sports Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The Chinese team (Bu Tingkai, Wang Chongkang, Zhang Dong, Dong Yi) won the gold medal with a time of 1 minute 23.859 seconds. South Korea also won a silver medal in this event at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games.

The pair of Jo Gwanghee and Jang Sangwon (1 minute 37.690 seconds) won silver in the men's kayak double 500m final held the previous day, finishing 1.042 seconds behind the Chinese duo Bu Tingkai and Wang Chongkang (1 minute 36.658 seconds).
