Dongjak-gu Protects Single-Person Households' Safety... Supports 3 Types of Safe Home Sets
Portable Emergency Bell, Home CCTV, Smart Doorbell ... Creating a Safe Living Environment
Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 14th that it will promote a Safe Home Set support project for single-person households to prevent crime and create a safe living environment.
This is to reduce the anxiety of single-person households and ensure safety amid the recent series of random crimes (so-called "mutjima" crimes).
The support items consist of three types: ▲home CCTV ▲a smart doorbell that allows real-time monitoring of the front door situation via mobile phone, and additionally ▲a portable emergency bell that sounds an alarm and can send the current location in case of an emergency.
The project targets 55 single-person households and single-parent families, with applications accepted from May and distribution of items expected to be completed by September.
The Safe Home Set is composed of simple products with necessary functions, which received high interest from applicants during the application phase.
Additionally, next month, the district plans to support a voice-recognition wireless emergency bell called Safe Emergency Bell for female single-tenant stores.
Furthermore, the district operates Safe Delivery Boxes, Safe Keeper Houses, and Safe Return Scouts.
