Dongseo University Webtoon Department, Book Cafe Comic Book Donation Ceremony and State-of-the-Art Facility Establishment
The Department of Webtoon at Dongseo University recently held a book donation ceremony with the Busan Beautiful School Movement Headquarters and the International eSports Promotion Agency.
This donation ceremony is part of the creative talent development program in collaboration with family companies of the LINC 3.0 Project Group. They received 1,500 published comic books, which will be displayed in the Webtoon Department's book cafe and operated as an open book cafe where anyone can freely read webtoons and comic books.
Additionally, during the summer vacation, the Webtoon Department established a ‘Webtoon Customized Cutting-Edge Lecture Room’ on the 5th floor of the UIT Building.
The advanced lecture room features replaced desks and chairs, new interior design, and is equipped with the latest equipment including 51 full sets of Wacom Cintiq Pro 24, one 100-inch lecture TV, and two 70-inch TVs.
In this newly established environment, Webtoon Department students will take major practical classes and participate in webtoon contests and industry projects, with a ‘Webtoon Exhibition’ scheduled for November.
