KOFURN is Korea's representative furniture exhibition, featuring over 250 companies from 15 countries and spanning 1,300 booths. The opening ceremony was attended by 16 key figures, including Jeong Il-young, member of the Democratic Party of Korea; Gandhi Sulistiyanto, Ambassador of Indonesia to Korea; Jeong Yun-mo, Executive Vice President of the Korea Federation of SMEs; Shim Seung-il, Vice President of the Korea Federation of SMEs; and Lee Byung-gil, Vice Chairman of the Economic and Labor Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council.
At KOFURN, visitors can explore all categories of furniture, including living room furniture, office furniture, and interior accessories. A wide range of items related to the entire furniture industry, such as raw materials and woodworking machinery, also participate in large numbers.
In line with its status as an international exhibition, furniture companies from around the world, including Germany, Denmark, the United States, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Hong Kong, have joined. Famous furniture brands such as Emons Furniture, Simmons, Tempur, and Dijart are also participating.
This exhibition also features art furniture filled with creative and aesthetic sensibilities, in addition to general exhibits. About 70 pieces of design furniture are displayed through exhibitions of works by veteran and emerging furniture designers and a furniture design competition, offering visitors a rich viewing experience. New designs reflecting annually changing trends are showcased.
This year, the event is even more enriched as it is held simultaneously with the '2023 Korea Wood Industry Expo,' hosted by the Korea Forest Service and organized by the Korea Federation of Wood Industry Associations. Various prize events are also prepared for visitors to KOFURN.
