Water Opens New Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Station at Gyeongnam Geoje Botanical Garden
Plan to Secure 100 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Nationwide by 2025, Including Yangyang, Boryeong, and Taean
Water, an electric vehicle fast charging network, announced on the 18th that it has established its third electric vehicle fast charging station at Gyeongnam Geoje Botanical Garden.
The newly opened 'Water Gyeongnam Geoje Botanical Garden' features an outdoor canopy booth with a custom design. It not only protects the chargers from rain and sunlight but also enhances user visibility by applying the brand color blue prominently. Three fast chargers (each 200 kW) are installed here. A total of six vehicles can be charged simultaneously. Two slow chargers (7 kW) will also be installed and operated.
After launching its first electric vehicle charging station, 'Water Seoul Gwanghwamun,' in November last year, Water opened its second electric vehicle charging station in April this year at the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Yoo Daewon, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Bright Energy Partners, who oversees Water's electric vehicle charging business, said, "Water is innovating its service by focusing on the essence of convenient electric vehicle charging," adding, "We will showcase Water's unique, beautiful, and sturdy canopy design at fast charging stations nationwide, enhancing the value of spaces and practicing carbon emission reduction."
