AI Startup Dalpa Selected for Deep Tech TIPS... 1.5 Billion KRW Support Over 3 Years
Recognized for Systematic Customized AI Technology for Enterprises
AI startup Dalpa (CEO Kim Do-gyun) announced on the 31st that it has been selected for Deep Tech TIPS, a private investment-led technology startup support program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Deep Tech TIPS is a program that selects startups with excellent technological capabilities and provides funding for technology development as part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Super-gap Startup 1000+ Project.' With this selection, Dalpa will receive 1.5 billion KRW in research and development funds over three years, and additionally, up to 100 million KRW each in startup commercialization funds and overseas marketing expenses.
Founded in January this year, Dalpa is striving to innovate AI experiences by lowering the entry barriers for companies to adopt and utilize AI, including launching an AI marketplace called 'AI Store.' In March, it secured 1.3 billion KRW in seed investment from Spring Camp, Dunamu & Partners, and Primer Saz?. With the Deep Tech TIPS selection, Dalpa plans to recruit outstanding talent and advance its technology.
Kim Do-gyun, CEO of Dalpa, said, "This Deep Tech TIPS selection recognizes Dalpa's fast and systematic AI technology," adding, "We will enable companies to apply AI, the most effective means to minimize costs and maximize sales, more easily and quickly."
