Sahmyook University Signs International Exchange MOU with California State University, San Bernardino
Agreement on Operation of Exchange Student and Credit Recognition Programs
Sahmyook University (President Kim Ilmok) has signed an international exchange MOU with California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). The MOU focuses on sending exchange students and credit exchange.

CSUSB is a research-oriented state comprehensive university located in San Bernardino, California, USA. It is one of the 23 campuses belonging to the California State University (CSU) system. It offers over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs across six colleges, as well as two doctoral programs in the field of education. In 2023, it ranked 100th among public universities in the U.S. according to the U.S. News & World Report college rankings.
Sahmyook University has agreed to send two students annually as exchange students to CSUSB and to operate mutual credit recognition programs (such as 2+2, 3+1, 4+1M). In addition, various international exchange programs such as joint research, academic conferences, seminars, and short-term language programs will be promoted.
Shin Ji-yeon, Director of the Office of External and International Affairs and Head of the International Education Center at Sahmyook University, said, "We look forward to actively promoting exchange students and academic exchanges based on the excellent and diverse majors of the two universities. Through this, we hope to strengthen the global competencies of our enrolled students and jointly nurture outstanding talents."

Meanwhile, Sahmyook University is actively promoting international exchanges. It currently has sister university MOUs with 128 universities worldwide. The number of international students studying at Sahmyook University reaches over 600 from 25 countries.
