DTx Company Hi Collaborates with Startup Portfolio from National Pension Service Spin-off for Sales
Digital therapeutics (DTx) developer HAII and Startfolio recently announced on the 25th that they have signed a strategic collaboration agreement at HAII's headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul to support the distribution of HAII's digital healthcare products.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the two companies plan to promote and sell 'Maeumjeongwon,' designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service in March, along with the cognitive function improvement and management service 'Alzguard' and the child self-regulation habit formation service 'Ppomi,' to over 6,000 public institutions across South Korea.
The two companies have been working closely even before signing this agreement, including introducing their services to pension university students in May. Moving forward, they plan to collaborate in providing programs for cognitive health management for the elderly and psychological health enhancement for employees to educational institutions and other public service organizations.
Jinwoo Kim, CEO of HAII, said, “I believe this agreement has created a solid foundation for a win-win situation for both public institutions and startups,” adding, “We look forward to introducing and providing HAII’s products to various public institutions through this collaboration.” Kwon Woosil, CEO of Startfolio, also stated, “Collaboration between public institutions and startups is essential for enhancing national competitiveness, and good cooperation can be achieved through the innovation of startups and the joint growth efforts of public institutions,” and added, “Since we trusted each other and quickly proceeded with this strategic agreement, we will strive to deliver results.”

HAII, a specialized DTx development company, is currently conducting confirmatory clinical trials for DTx targeting generalized anxiety disorder. In addition, they are developing DTx for dementia and dysarthria and have introduced various digital healthcare products utilizing these technologies to the market. Startfolio is a newly established startup spun off in May from the Digital Literacy Research Institute, the first in-house venture of the National Pension Service. Since 2021, it has been practicing public-private collaboration as an in-house venture of a public institution. Currently, Startfolio is preparing a matching platform for public institutions and startups and plans to file a patent application for its matching algorithm.
