Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) is operating a "Career Experience Linked with Excellent Companies" program in collaboration with G-Valley companies for middle and high school students.
The "Career Experience Linked with Excellent Companies" program is designed to nurture talents who will lead future society by cooperating with excellent companies located in G-Valley. It aims to help students decide their career paths by visiting actual industrial sites, listening to expert advice, and gaining hands-on experience.
On July 12, 41 students from four middle schools visited the headquarters of Netmarble, a leading company in the gaming industry. They toured the office building, received explanations about the roles of business managers and the overall gaming industry, and participated in a Q&A session.
On July 19, 10 students from Dongil Girls' High School, interested in pursuing studies in business-related fields, visited EMStar, a digital marketing company. The participating students received explanations on recruitment criteria, job hunting activities, and overall workplace life, and toured the live commerce studio currently in operation.
Geumcheon-gu plans to continue discovering career experience programs linked with excellent companies in G-Valley and provide information about them to local middle and high schools.
