Take a Break from the Hot Summer... BNK Busan Bank Operates Heat Relief Shelters
Busan Bank provides a cool space for local residents to escape the heat and supports a healthy summer.
BNK Busan Bank will operate the "Heatwave Shelter," which was suspended due to COVID-19, at 150 branches nationwide until August 31.
Busan Bank has equipped its branch lobbies with refrigerators, ice boxes, and will provide free bottled water and beverages.
Civilians who want to use the "Heatwave Shelter" can visit the nearest branch at any time, regardless of whether they have a banking transaction, and enjoy cool drinks in the shelter space prepared in the lobby.
Park Bong-woo, head of the Marketing Promotion Department at Busan Bank, said, "We hope the 'Heatwave Shelter,' operating for the first time in three years, will be a resting place where customers can cool down even for a moment," adding, "We will continue to repay our customers who cherish Busan Bank through social contribution activities needed by the local community."
