On the morning of the 17th, Jung Moon-heon, Mayor of Jongno-gu, visited large construction sites in Pyeongchang-dong and Ogin-dong, areas vulnerable to flooding within the district.
This site inspection was conducted in response to the continuous rain damage occurring across the country. Jongno-gu had previously canceled the car-free street event scheduled for Daehangno on the 16th and operated a 24-hour Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to maintain emergency duty.
