Brickmate Signs MOU with Risod Japan to Expand Japan Cloud Market
Brickmate, an IT subsidiary of Kumho Electric (CEO Oh Jong-su, Kim Min-wook), announced on the 14th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Resod Japan, an IT company based in Japan and Vietnam, to cooperate in expanding the Japanese cloud market.
Resod was established in 2019, with initial business collaboration experience with Brickmate serving as a testbed opportunity. The company was founded by executives who graduated from Keio University in Japan and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and was incubated and established with support from Brickmate. As a global ITO business partner growing together, it currently supplies a development capacity of 100 M/M (man/month) per month exclusively to Japanese companies. It is an IT company with strengths in pioneering the Japanese market, particularly excelling in Lab-type offshoring services.
Through this strengthened cooperation agreement, the two companies plan to activate the introduction of various cloud-native solutions, including Brickmate’s ‘2EZ Cloud Managed Service,’ targeting Japanese companies. In particular, Resod’s existing in-house Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) support team will reorganize its operating system to become a sales network for Brickmate MSP.
A Resod official said, “We are pleased to expand the scope of cooperation from development offshoring business with Brickmate to cloud business,” adding, “We hope this will be an opportunity for Brickmate’s outstanding entrepreneurial spirit and Resod’s business sense in Japan to combine more deeply.”
