Next Week's K-Indie Concert at New York Lincoln Center... Crying Nut, Baek Yerin, and More
First-generation Korean indie rock band Crying Nut and singer-songwriter Yerin Baek will take the stage at the outdoor venue of Lincoln Center in New York next week.
The Korean Cultural Center in New York announced on the 10th that it will hold the 'K-Indie Music Night' concert in collaboration with Lincoln Center at 7:30 PM on the 19th and 20th. This is one of the highlight programs of the Korean cultural and arts special festival 'Korean Arts Week' hosted by Lincoln Center.
On the 19th, Crying Nut and Say Sue Me will perform. Crying Nut, Korea's representative punk rock band, will present hit songs including their new single "Yageun" (Overtime) released last month, as well as "Mal Dalrija" (Let's Run), "Luxembourg," and "Circus Magic Caravan." The four-member band Say Sue Me, praised by pop legend Elton John, will showcase their unique sound blending various genres from indie pop to surf rock and rock and roll.
On the 20th, Yerin Baek will take the stage. She will deliver her unique vocal tone across various genres including soul, R&B, dream pop, and grunge rock.

This K-Indie Music Night will be held free of charge at Damrosch Park, Lincoln Center's main outdoor venue. Fast-track entry applications will be available from noon on the 17th through the Cultural Center's website and Lincoln Center's 'Summer for the City' website. Same-day entry will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue.
