CU launches Yonsei Milk Hallabong Cream Bread... "Exclusive release in Jeju Island"
First Local Specialty Product Collaboration
CU announced on the 2nd that it will launch the ninth Yonsei Milk Fresh Cream Bread product, the ‘Hallabong Fresh Cream Bread’.
The Hallabong Fresh Cream Bread is the first product developed in connection with a local specialty. It is filled with custard made by combining Jeju-grown Hallabong jam and aid concentrate, emphasizing a sweet and tangy flavor.
Using soboro bread to express the bumpy texture of Hallabong, the bread is topped with a green cookie shaped like a leaf to creatively depict the Hallabong.
CU plans to first release the product at stores located in Jeju Island and Udo, then expand its availability nationwide. Customers can also pre-order the product through the Pocket CU application (app).
