On the morning of the 1st, Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, joined in making watermelon punch in the Yeongdeungpo-dong Ssokbangchon community to celebrate the monthly joy-sharing event, ‘Volunteer Day.’
The 5th ‘Volunteer Day’ event was attended by Yeongdeungpo District Office executives, the Seoul Foreign Residents Center volunteer group, the Migrant Center Friends volunteer group, and staff from the Volunteer Center.
The volunteer activity involved making about 200 servings of watermelon punch for the residents of Ssokbangchon, with Mayor Choi diligently putting his heart into the task.
