One-on-One Customized Agricultural Education Pre-Mentoring for Immigrant Women
On the 23rd, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held a pre-education and workshop for mentors of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' cooperative project, ‘1:1 Customized Agricultural Education for Immigrant Women,’ at the Sannae branch of Miryang Nonghyup to support the stable settlement of immigrant women farmers in the region.
In this training, about 30 participants including specialized women farmers from 12 cities and counties and Nonghyup officials attended and underwent various educational programs to perform agricultural policy and agricultural guardian roles.

The mentor role training included agricultural teaching methods, education log writing, multicultural understanding education, and emergency first aid safety education.
The agricultural education mentor project is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Nonghyup to support the stable settlement of successor women farmers in rural areas by linking marriage immigrant women with strong will to settle in farming and specialized women farmers 1:1, transferring the entire cultivation process, characteristics, and agricultural techniques of each crop.
