At the 2023 Korea Innovation Awards, Coway received the New Technology Innovation Award for a total of three products: the Virex Smart Mattress, Icon Water Purifier 2, and Skincare Water Softener. Since its first award in 2002, Coway has proudly won the New Technology Innovation Award for 21 consecutive years.
The Coway Virex Smart Mattress is a new-concept mattress that provides a customized sleep environment reflecting the customer's lifestyle, recognized for its outstanding innovation. Instead of traditional mattress springs, this product is equipped with air-injection type slip cells and a smart controller that adjusts them. This allows the mattress firmness to be adjusted anytime according to the user's body shape and condition, providing an optimal sleep environment.
The Coway Icon Water Purifier 2 applies a cartridge-type faucet to improve hygiene and received excellent evaluations for its eco-friendliness through an electronic cooling system. This product uses a cooling method based on semiconductor thermoelectric elements, eliminating the need for compressors and refrigerants, thereby enhancing environmental friendliness while maximizing cooling efficiency.
