Caitus Technology to Participate in Unmanned Mobility Industry Expo... "Will Showcase US Portem Anti-Drone Solution"
Kaitus Technology will showcase its Anti-Drone System (ADS) at the largest drone expo in South Korea.
Kaitus Technology announced that it will participate in the 'Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Industry Expo (UWC) 2023' held from the 21st to the 23rd.
The event, held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, is jointly hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration. As the largest drone expo in the country, it offers an opportunity to view advanced drone technologies from both domestic and international companies. Various companies, including defense contractors and mobility firms, will participate.
Through this event, Kaitus Technology plans to exhibit the Portem product line. Portem Technologies, headquartered in the United States, is known in the industry for its anti-drone solutions that have been active in major international events such as the Ukraine-Russia war, the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and the 2022 Tokyo Olympics.
The Anti-Drone System is designed to detect, identify, and neutralize unidentified hostile drones that invade airspace, and Kaitus Technology is an official reseller of Portem Technologies.
A company representative stated, "It is unusual for Jon Gruen, CEO of Portem Technologies, to visit Korea for this event," adding, "This is evidence of how much expectations for the domestic defense market have grown in the global market."
