HiteJinro Releases Tribute Video for Korea's First All-Malt Beer 'Max'
Tribute Video Produced to Mark End of Can and PET Product Production
Draught Beer Products Scheduled for Production Until Year-End
HiteJinro announced on the 14th that it will release a tribute video for 'Max,' the first original all-malt beer in Korea. HiteJinro produced the tribute video to commemorate the end of production of Max's can and PET bottle products.
Launched in 2006 as Korea's first all-malt beer, Max has grown into a mega brand with cumulative sales of 5.1 billion bottles over 17 years. As a pioneer in the Korean all-malt market, Max has consistently been loved by consumers with its concept of a "cream draft all-malt beer," emphasizing the rich taste and creamy foam inherent to all-malt beer. Additionally, Max attracted attention by releasing 13 special hops from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, and New Zealand, satisfying diverse consumer needs.
Max's canned and PET bottle products sold through home channels such as large supermarkets and convenience stores are scheduled to disappear from history after the products produced in May. Although home-use product production will end, sales will continue until existing stock is depleted at stores like supermarkets, allowing consumers to purchase them. Draft beer for entertainment channels, such as regular bars and restaurants, will continue to be produced for the time being and will be available until the end of this year.
