Pillaware is a company realizing new knowledge creation across various business areas based on its skilled virtualization solution consulting, IT development technology, and system operation know-how. In particular, it has shown remarkable achievements as a technology partner of VMware, a global leader in the enterprise software sector.
VMware, which Pillaware has partnered with, is an enterprise software company headquartered in the United States. Through multi-cloud services, it supports companies in building, operating, accessing, and protecting applications in diverse and complex environments such as on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and edge.
In March of this year, VMware announced a revamp of its Partner Connect program and newly added the top-tier Pinnacle level. Pinnacle Partners are VMware’s most strategically invested partners, meeting qualification requirements through various verification programs, possessing extensive sales and service success experience of various scales, and having the capability to manage wide regions.
Additionally, Pinnacle Partners have proven broad technical skills and capabilities to solve the most challenging problems faced by customers, and VMware collaborates with them to provide infrastructure that powers the digital world. Pillaware was promoted to the Pinnacle level along with the revamp of the Partner Connect program this year.
Pillaware continues to achieve steady growth by forming partnerships with various global partners, including VMware. Last year, its revenue grew approximately sixfold compared to the two-year average, recording a record high of 48.4 billion KRW since its founding.
Based on these achievements, Pillaware solidified its position as a virtualization solution specialist not only in terms of technology but also performance by winning the ‘Partner of the Year’ award at the ‘VMware Korea 2023 Partner Awards’ held in April and the ‘Breakthrough Award’ at Dell Tech World 2023 held in Las Vegas, USA, in May.
Kim Yoon-chul, CEO of Pillaware, expressed great enthusiasm about the promotion to VMware Pinnacle Partner, stating, "As Pillaware is the only Pinnacle Partner in Korea, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility."
