Naver Webtoon Collaborates with Discord... Launches 'Womperse Wonderventures' Series
Naver Webtoon continues its collaboration with global companies by partnering with the chat platform Discord.
Naver Webtoon announced that it has started serializing the original webtoon "Wumpus Wonderventures" in the United States from the 10th. "Wumpus Wonderventures" is a story about the adventures of Wumpus, known as Discord's mascot, and four episodes will be released.
Along with the webtoon serialization, readers who finish reading all of "Wumpus Wonderventures" by June 8 will receive a one-month free subscription to Discord Nitro, Discord's premium subscription service. Existing Discord Nitro subscribers will receive 10 Naver Webtoon coins until June 8, and a Naver Webtoon Discord server has been established within Discord to provide a space where subscribers and creators can communicate together.
Previously, not only companies in the gaming industry such as Ubisoft and Riot Games but also leading entertainment companies like DC and Marvel have produced and released original webtoons through collaborations with Naver Webtoon.
