Pyeongtaek Port Authority Visits Pyeongtaek Western Senior Welfare Center... Sharing Activities Including Meal Service
On the 10th, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority visited the Pyeongtaek Western Senior Welfare Center to carry out sharing activities for elderly people in need within the community.
On this day, the authority's executives and employees handed out carnations and baeksulgi rice cakes to about 350 local seniors in celebration of Family Month, and also volunteered in meal service.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, "We will ensure that the meal service volunteering does not remain a one-time event but becomes a sustainable social contribution activity of the authority." He added, "We pledge to become a public institution practicing ESG management by promoting various social contribution activities tailored to different groups such as children, students, and seniors, and to different times such as summer vacation and Chuseok holidays."
