The hospital explained that it is meaningful that the metaverse Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center was planned and produced independently without external assistance.
Lee Chang-gyun, head of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, said, "Inflammatory bowel disease affects many young patients, and while considering various focuses for patients, we thought there was a need for a hub to provide information to them, which led us to consider the metaverse. Since inflammatory bowel disease requires lifelong management, we wanted to create an opportunity to communicate with patients more easily and familiarly."

ZEP (Zep) is a platform that is easy to access and use even for middle-aged and elderly people, making it effective for both patients and medical staff."
