Using Tmap Data for Credit Evaluation... Launch of Tmap Information Service
T Map Mobility and KCB 'Join Hands'
Utilizing Driving Data and Behavior Patterns
From this month, drivers' TMAP driving information will be utilized in various fields such as credit evaluation.
TMAP Mobility announced on the 3rd that it will launch the 'TMAP Information Service' in collaboration with the credit evaluation company KCB. The TMAP Information Service models information using driving and trajectory data (distance, sudden deceleration, sudden acceleration, etc.) and behavior patterns of drivers using the TMAP platform, enabling its use in financial credit evaluations. It is planned to be used to improve the repayment ability of so-called 'Thin Filers' who receive unfavorable credit evaluations due to lack of financial transaction records, or to provide preferential benefits such as interest rate reductions to existing financial customers.
TMAP Mobility and KCB have completed joint research verifying the validity of credit evaluation based on driving information using each company's pseudonymized customer data. As a result, it was confirmed that safe driving patterns positively affect financial repayment ability, and the service was launched to allow more customers to receive financial evaluation benefits.

Both companies plan to continue consultations with non-financial sector stakeholders so that the TMAP Information Service can be utilized as alternative information in various fields in the future. It is also expected to be used in analyses of commercial districts and locations based on traffic volume, as well as tourist sites and festivals.
