Chevrolet Trax Crossover Surpasses 10,000 Pre-Orders
In Just 4 Business Days... First Record Among Chevrolet Models
Korea GM announced on the 28th that the global brand Chevrolet's 'Trax Crossover' surpassed 10,000 pre-orders in just four days after the start of its pre-contract sales. This is the highest record for pre-orders of a new Chevrolet model launched in Korea.
Seoyoung Deuk, Executive Director of Domestic Sales at GM Korea, said, "The remarkable achievement of the Trax Crossover, reaching 10,000 pre-orders in the shortest period for the brand, is the result of customers recognizing the unique value of the Trax Crossover. Chevrolet will lead the crossover market starting with the Trax Crossover and will do its best to deliver products quickly to customers worldwide."
The Trax Crossover, Chevrolet's entry model, is a crossover that combines the driving performance of a sedan with the versatility of a sport utility vehicle (SUV). It has received explosive interest from consumers and media both domestically and globally due to its best-in-class interior space, differentiated design offering various choices for customers' lifestyles, and multi-functionality. The domestic model is equipped with features such as Auto Hold, second-row air vents, power liftgate, shark fin antenna, LED tail lamps, and LED turn signal integrated outside mirrors to enhance customer satisfaction.
Moreover, surpassing 10,000 pre-orders in four business days is also the shortest record within the Chevrolet brand. Previously, the Malibu and Impala each reached 10,000 units in eight business days and one month, respectively. The Next Spark recorded about 6,000 contracts in one month. The popularity of the Trax Crossover is explosive even compared to the initial launch of competing models in the same class. Currently, customers continue to visit Chevrolet showrooms nationwide without pause.
Lee Haeyong, Car Manager at Chevrolet Jeonju Dealership, said, "This is the first time so many customers have visited and inquired at the store," adding, "Many customers are satisfied with the space utilization of a compact mid-size class that surpasses the small crossover segment, excellent design, and reasonable price range."
