The Bugae Jugong Complex 3, the first remodeling project underway in Incheon, is accelerating its progress.
The Bugae Jugong Complex 3 Remodeling Housing Association announced on the 10th that the safety inspection has been completed. Although they are currently awaiting the safety inspection evaluation grade, the association explained that there is a high probability the result will be either a B or C grade. Unlike reconstruction, remodeling projects require a high safety inspection grade to proceed. If the grade is C or higher, horizontal annex remodeling is possible, while vertical extension requires a B grade or higher.
An association official stated, “We are currently preparing for both urban planning review and architectural review simultaneously. As this is the first remodeling project, we are working closely with the city and district offices to set a precedent in Incheon, and the response to the remodeling project has been very positive.”
The Bugae Jugong Complex 3 is known for the strong commitment of its association members and tenants toward the project. This is due to their desire to break away from the image of Jugong apartments while improving the residential environment. Furthermore, the cooperation from the city and district offices has been very effective, and this mutual interaction has resulted in a significantly higher participation rate among association members compared to other complexes, according to the association.
