Small and Medium Enterprises Also Embrace ESG Management... Woori Bank Launches Consulting Services
Self-Diagnosis and Consulting Services Provided
Woori Bank is launching consulting services to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies, which lack manpower and capital, to implement ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
On the 5th, Woori Bank announced that it will offer 'Woori ESG Self-Diagnosis' and 'Woori ESG Consulting' services with this purpose.
The 'Woori ESG Self-Diagnosis' service is a non-face-to-face service that allows SMEs and mid-sized companies, which find it difficult to practice ESG management, to easily check their ESG ratings and preparation levels by category. In partnership with 'eCredible,' Woori Bank customers can use this service for free through corporate internet banking.
If the evaluation results meet a certain grade or higher, benefits such as opportunities to use ESG loan products and preferential interest rates are provided. For customers unfamiliar with the ESG concept, they can also receive ESG-related public institution guidelines, video materials, and one-on-one answers to inquiries.
The 'Woori ESG Consulting' service is conducted in partnership with the consulting specialist firm 'Korea Management Association Consulting.' For corporate clients requiring ESG consulting, it provides ▲diagnosis of non-financial items such as the company's E (Environment), S (Social), and G (Governance) ▲identification of improvements and solutions through on-site visits ▲support for establishing and implementing ESG management strategies ▲and ESG education consulting for employees to internalize ESG management.
