Golfzon Hosts Korea-China-Japan 'Skins Challenge'
$40,000 Total Prize Money at 6 PM on the 21st
Golfzon announced on the 15th that it will host the '2023 Shinhan Investment Corp. Korea-China-Japan Golfzon Skins Challenge,' a screen golf tournament for female golfers from Korea, China, and Japan.
First held last year, the Skins Challenge is an event where star female golfers from Korea, China, and Japan gather to compete in screen golf. The tournament is played in a team skins match play format with two players per team over 18 holes, and the total prize money is $40,000. It will be held at the Hangzhou West Lake Global Golf Country Club, the course for the golf event at the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games scheduled for September. The match will take place on the 21st at 6 PM.
Representing Korea are the 'beautiful golfer' An Sohyun and 'the idol of the field' Jung Jiyu, who is set to debut on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour this year. China's representatives include Sui Xiang, the first Chinese player in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), and Wang Xinying, who has competed on the Epson Tour in the United States. Japan's representatives are former national team member Yuri Yoshida and Yumi Sasahara, who participated in last year's Skins Challenge.

A Golfzon official stated, "The Korea-China-Japan Skins Challenge is an event that showcases Golfzon's screen golf system and online network technology," adding, "We expect this year’s tournament to feature captivating performances from the star female golfers of Korea, China, and Japan."
