[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] kt is announced its 2022 business performance on the 8th. Revenue reached 535.8 billion KRW, marking a 14.5% increase compared to the previous year and achieving the highest performance since its listing. Operating profit was 19.5 billion KRW, up 35.7% year-on-year. Net profit was 15.9 billion KRW, and excluding the reverse base effect caused by asset sale gains in the previous year, the actual operating-related net profit also increased compared to the previous year.
The company explained that steady growth in its core businesses, the contact center business and telecommunications product distribution business, along with the full-scale launch of new businesses such as digital commerce (distribution) and digital advertising (Town Board TV), drove the revenue increase.

They have applied AICC to the 114 directory assistance number, built the Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance AICC voicebot, and developed chatbots and voicebots for Sinchon Severance Hospital, among various projects, operating AICC construction and service tasks in collaboration with KT.
According to global market research firm Research and Markets, the AICC market is expected to grow from $11.5 billion (approximately 14 trillion KRW) in 2020 to $36.1 billion (approximately 45 trillion KRW) by 2025.
